I saw the work of Susie Cowie, a young English embroiderer, in the recent Jane Campion film Bright Star. Jane Campion has created a masterpiece with this film, the costumes, music, cinematography and script comes together so well.
It's so great to see Susie's individual approach to hand embroidery, the illustrative style is beautiful.
